We have started a collection of lovely old copper saucepans hanging up in my farmhouse kitchen. These copper saucepans make a stylish and warm addition to any chefs kitchen.
These look great hanging from the wall, above a cooker or cast iron range or off an oak hanging frame. The sheer size and shape difference and colour and patina variations, make more an obsessional collecting heaven. From the amazing rectangular turbot pans, huge copper stew pots with lids, incredible salmon copper fish kettles with zinc liners and copper lids, to a collection of small sauce or saute pans, all gleaming away in the kitchen, add to the charm of a copper collection.
The amazing patina of any special copper pan manufactured many decades ago, embossed with it's proud makes mark, and nestling in the far recesses of the kitchen shelves, always add to the charm of a copper collection to any home.
