I live in New England, not more than an hour from ocean beaches and from the Presidential range of the White Mountains. Nevertheless, I find it hard to break up my home routine and spend time outdoors, except at the farm where I volunteer. So I love to put on my laksen ladies jacket and spend time outdoors when I am on vacation, and even when I go to large cities like New York or London it is awesome to walk outdoors or sit in the parks. But my favorite place to spend time outdoors is in northwestern Wyoming. In the Grand Tetons and in Yellowstone Park, as well as the surrounding areas, every moment outside is a new adventure peppered with wildlife and beautiful vistas. The mountains are utterly gorgeous to look at and even for those of us who are novices in the outdoors there are wonderful places to walk, hike, and take in the fresh air. Yellowstone is full of surreal geothermic features. My favorite town is southwest of the parks a bit and is called Thermopolis – here you can bask in the hot springs, enjoy buffalo and other wildlife, and see the ways mineral-laden waters form layers of rock over the ages. The purse I like best is a medium sized over the shoulder bag with several compartments to keep things organized, and goes so well with my red scarf. I personally like a long strap so I can wear it over one shoulder and hanging down on the other side of my body (in other words, I put it on over my head). This way it is secure and hands free. It needs to have at least a couple of zippered pockets to keep thing separated, so not too much digging is required to find anything. An extra inside zippered pocket provides a secret hiding place for extra cash or other things I want to be super secured. It's also good to have special pockets for keys and a cell phone. A small outside pocket for keys is a great feature, especially if it has a magnetic clasp or even just a flap to keep the keys from falling out. The cell phone pocket can be on the outside or inside, but should be just the right depth to make it easy to pull the phone out. |

I have a passion for fashion accessories - be they hair clips, pashminas, or shoes or whatever! And I especially love animal prints. Zebra, Cheetah, Giraffe, and leopard, you name it and I will wear it. They even have underwear that has animal patterns. It has become so popular for this years Christmas gifts. The best item that is kind of pricey is the complete bedding set. Comforter or Duvet, pillows,bed skirt and every part of the bedding is crazy with faux animal skin. You would think with all the animal lovers out there, this would be taboo, but it definitely is not. Next is the winter clothing lines! You cannot even pick up a catalog without seeing Leopard and Zebra in every color! Some colors are not natural either. Kids things come in pink and purple Zebra stripes! Gorgeous swing jackets in Cheetah print is fabulous and they are made with a fake fur and are soft and cozy! I love them! So when you are looking for something trendy this season, try the animal prints and give your life a little pizazz. |

My younger brother's birthday was coming up in a few days and I needed to buy a gift for him. He was turning 21 years old so I had to keep in mind that he was well out of the teenage years.
Actually, I'm used to making gifts for my female friends with my jewellery making supplies, so this was going to be quite a challenge.
I went to the mall for ideas. First I saw the video game store. He enjoys playing First Person Shooters so I though I would have a look at those. But then I realized he already had three such games for his Xbox and still had not played 2 of them, so this might not be the best idea. Then I headed to the electronics store. I thought I would maybe get him a new iPod or something he could use with his computer, like a webcam. But then I remembered that my mom told me she was getting him a new iPhone, which would have an iPod included in it. So I discarded that idea. I looked around the webcams but I could not find any in black. And since his entire computer stuff (CPU, monitor, speakers) was all black, I decided to skip the webcam. Next I headed to the department store. Since he would be moving out in a few months, perhaps he would like a toaster or some other household item to use at his new place. There I found a nice four slice toaster that he loved when I gave it to him on his birthday. |

Many people like the classic look and enjoy being dressed in formal wear. I myself am not very fond of it, I’m more a sport person so that is why I enjoy wearing sneakers rather than shoes. However, you cannot wear sneakers with your formal clothing, so when I decide to buy shoes - and I always look to buy cheap shoes - they are usually a blend between formal and sport wear. I believe the term is sport elegant shoes. The last time I bought shoes was at my graduation from college celebration, I needed something to wear with my suit, so I bought these black leather shoes, which are quite simple with no decorations on them and give a sport resemblance. I really love them and enjoy wearing them on all formal occasions, because they go together with almost everything. The thing I don’t like about them is that eventually the leather crunches, contracts in some places and forms creases and lines, that are making them look old and worn out. |

I love my converse shoes. They go with everything, and have been, and always will be fashionable to me. They go with all kinds of styles, from rock n roll to preppy to boutique fashion - they even go with my DesignSix dresses. You can wear the black ones with jeans, or the white ones with shorts and a t-shirt during the summer. I personally prefer chucks, the low rise, but I do not mind the classical All-Star shape. I have had many pairs of converse shoes, of many different colors, black, white, light blue, dark blue, yellow, red. One time, I went to a concert with one of my friends. I thought that my black chucks would be the perfect shoe attire to wear for the occasion. Once we got there, we saw that many other people were wearing the same shoes. The concert lasted all night long, and once we got home, I realized that my shoes had turned white, from all the powder from the gravel getting on them, they were gross! Luckily, since they're made of cloth, they were easy to wash, I just threw them in the washing machine and they were as good as new. |

I have several nice shirts that I consider to be the best of my collection of clothes. These shirts were mostly gifts from family, and especially from my step-mother, who has a gift for finding bargains on high-quality clothes. My favorite shirts are nice cotton polo shirts of a semi-coarse texture, in a variety of colors. They are collared shirts with two or three buttons, made either of plastic or in one case some type of metal. Some of them have a breast pocket, which I like for storing small objects temporarily, and others have no pocket but are still very nice. I like to wear each shirt on the same day of the week, with my best shirt being worn on Friday. While I am not the most fashionable person I know, I do take pride in my appearance and make an effort to be well-groomed, so to me it is important to have a good number of nice shirts to go along with jeans or khaki pants, and the snug boots I'll inevitably be wearing in the colder months up ahead. Since I have little time to bargain hunt, I appreciate the shirts that my family finds for me, and I enjoy their quality. |

I absolutely adore Paris Hilton. If I had a choice I would like to look like her every day as she is extremely attractive. I have a fancy dress party to attend this weekend and of course I am going to dress up as Paris Hilton. My all time favorite. This is the first time that I have dressed up as her. I need to buy a long blonde wig that is my first priority. I want one that looks very realistic. I will also need to buy blue contact lenses and a spray on tan. Lots of make up will be necessary in particular lip gloss. Clothing should be pretty simple. I will probably end up wearing a designer dress with heels. I intend to take my Chihuahua dog along with me. I am very excited about the prospect of being able to look like Paris Hilton and get all the attention. |

When I want to show that I have any fashion sense, I will typically wear a good pair of jeans - it's the ultimate in adult, and even designer kids clothes. There was a time, not so long ago, when jeans were really work clothes but they have progressed to be more of a fashion statement. The thing I like about jeans is that the newer designs are mostly slim fitting and make you look better. Additionally, you can wear them up or down by the other clothes that you wear. A good pair of jeans, when combined with a sport jacket, is a great look and it works nearly everywhere. In Paris or Rome, it works on a night out. A simple golf shirt works for a good summer look in a bar. A simple white t shirt is a clean, casual look. One trick to help make jeans work, you have to pay attention to shoes if you wear ratty shoes, you will look ratty but if you wear a nice dressy pair of shoes, that works great with a sports jacket in nearly any restaurant or bar. Of course, you have to have jeans that complement your style. If you have an I'll fitting set of jeans, they won't look any better than baggy potato sacks! |

I love my hooded fleece cape with faux fur trim. It’s my favorite fashion item in winter because it goes with everything. Lace is my favourite material, but I'm open-minded about faux fur (I'm an animal lover), and winter calls for such warm materials. It also fits over everything. No matter what I’m wearing, I can just toss my cape on easily without a lot of struggling (unlike other winter outer garments). It has big buttons that are easy to fasten and unfasten, even while wearing gloves. My cape is a medium tan color, but this particular type of cape also comes in black, gray, white, and red. This is just the best and most fashionable winter garment. It’s nice and toasty. The hood gives protection from light rain and snow. It always looks nice, and it’s really easy to launder. I just toss it in the washer on the “cold” setting using the delicate cycle with fabric softener and no detergent, then fluff it in the dryer for a few minutes before hanging it to finish drying. I don’t want to use a lot of heat because I’m afraid it would mess up the faux fur. Using the cold settings and just fluffing a bit, I can keep the faux fur from getting crinkly. Then it just needs a light brushing with a baby brush to look fluffy again. |

I just love the colour gold when it comes to bags - I have gold clutch bags, shoulder bags, and other varieties of bags in this colours. I would be lost without my handbags because I wouldn't be able to find my keys or any of my belongings! My favorite handbag is one that I received as a gift on my birthday from my grandmother before she passed away. Along with having sentimental value, it is also gorgeous and unique. It is almost certain that I will receive a compliment on it wherever I go. It is a shimmery gold tweed material and has a large bow on the front. It is an over the shoulder tote that can fit almost all of my belongings, even my iPad! On the inside it boasts two pockets which I conveniently place my cell phone and keys in and a zipper pouch which can be used for extra money or important items. I can wear it with virtually anything. With jeans it can be the perfect casual bag, but the feminine bow makes it perfect to carry when I'm wearing a dress. All in all, it is the best bag I have ever received! I hope to keep this fabulous handbag forever even though it's starting to fall apart! |

I always used to be a dull dresser, until I discovered exciting shoes - from Hotter shoes to high heels to sneakers. When I walk out the door in my favorite purple sneakers, suddenly I'm the coolest person out there! Some days I put them on and I think, "Hmm, maybe I should dye my hair purple to match!" Before I know it, I'm off on a mental journey to an alternate universe where I'm a rock star, crashing on the drums before a screaming audience. Another day I'll put my purple sneakers on and suddenly I'm a modern superhero, with a hipster uniform of blue jeans, a sagging hat, and thick-framed glasses - all coordinated with my sneakers, of course. My purple shoes are suddenly the source of magical abilities, like seven-league boots only better. I run through the city streets, then leap into the air, where I can suddenly fly to the rescue of some unfortunate soul in danger. And all of this because of my favorite purple shoes! |

Originally meant to be a basketball shoe, Converse All-Stars (commonly called "Chucks", named after Chuck Taylor) have become the single most popular style of footwear in the world. They are still a popular choice with athletes, though their use has branched far beyond that. Many boaters have began wearing Chucks, due to their grippy soles and lightweight canvas uppers. When wet, the shoe will dry out much faster than other footwear. It has even been reported that Navy Seals have worn all black Chucks before. One field where this style footwear has taken it over by storm is music. Chucks are seen all over the music industry, in every color under the sun. Even business executives are jumping on the Converse bandwagon. I've even seen women with their clutch bags and party tops wearing Chucks! It's not uncommon to see someone wearing a full suit with Chucks these days. It's no wonder why. The shoes are lightweight, comfortable, and have a look about them that no other shoe can match. Footwear fashion may come and go, but Converse All-Stars have stood the test of time, and their popularity seems to only be growing stronger. |
