You do not expect to just connect your wires and then the program you want to install to just start operating immediately. There are certain procedures which you have to follow for you to be able to connect your two machines and enable them operate together. If you would like for example, to connect a vmware work station to the internet, there is software which needs to be downloaded so that it can operate. Many people have been asking questions like how to connect vmware to the internet. It is not that they donnt have an idea of connecting the wires, it is how to download it, so that it becomes possible to operate internet from the vmware, which gives them problems. After you are through with the process of connecting the vmware to the machine, you will have to download software straight into the running Linux system so that the internet can flow through to your machine. If you finish up this process, you will have little to complain about because your vmware is now internet enabled.
